This started as a cover of “Intro to Subaural Chaos” by PKP (which was recorded using only a QY70). The main thing that remains is the kick and hi-hat lines, the rest started to take a life of its own and now barely resembles the original.
It was written first using the Electribe 2. I copied the MIDI into the MPC (and transposed it meh), then used the Behringer TD-3 and Model D for bass and synth.
I missed a transition in the middle so I went back and chucked in a few lead lines using Ableton, it reminded me that I really have little patience for using a DAW but at least it stops the drift for this track.
