Old Recordings

This is some of my old stuff, newest first. There are a few gaps in the collections but this is most of it. If I track down the tracks from Dispossessed EP I’ll add them, this may require re-rendering from Ableton Live. Most of this stuff was done in my old band, Psychotic Kiss Productions (PKP). That band eventually dissolved due to musical differences.

Anti Hibernate (2015)

Jamming out with an APC Key25 controller, which allows you to drop clips in/out of Ableton live by pressing coloured buttons. Good fun.

Dispossessed EP (2006)

There were a couple of other tracks on this but looks like I don’t have any mixdowns of them. Will keep looking and see what I can find. Recorded using Ableton Live at Kev’s place, Forest Gate.

Touch My Deck (2004)

Did these with Wing Commander in Walthamstow. We had two PCs running side by side and I created the sounds then sent the files to Matt who assembled the tracks and added some of his unmistakable dynamics. Then I went over them to do final mastering.
Recorded in Forest Road Walthamstow.

Muzakk From The Sokk (2002)

Some of this done with Cubase, then my first forays into Ableton Live. Heavily MIDI-based with a few scattered samples. Recorded in Forest Road, Walthamstow.

Distortion, inc. (1997)

This was all done on the QY70, which only had enough memory for one track so it got backed up on an old laptop. Unfortunately someone spilled a cup of tea on the laptop and the whole lot was gone in a second. I still have 3rd/4th generation tape copies but the sound quality is so crap I’m not gonna bother uploading. Recorded in The Castle and The Mitre, Chancery Lane.
