Organic Soup

I was jamming out today and figured it made sense to upload it and test the ens-to-end process. I used the brute twins and the volcas using a single loop on the Drumbrute and each Volca, and just the arpeggiator on the Minibrute. All the drum fills were done using the looper ribbon on the Drumbrute, with the drum tuning and all other sound adjustments done live.

I really felt like I was flying by the seat of my pants with this, there just weren’t enough arms and hands at my disposal. No doubt some selective overdubs will come in handy as I get more familiar with the tools. No song structure, bad timing and dodgy transitions, but pure fun.

I got asked what the vocoder sound was, it’s the minibrute with a bit of mod-wheel twiddling, mapped to cutoff. As there is no way of saving patches, the image below may be the only way I can ever recreate it 🙂

All I need to do to recreate the sound is to set the minibrute up just like this….
