I created a new patch for the Modular last night and wanted to try it out. This jam revolves around creating different timing patterns on the SQ-1 and experimenting a bit with polyrhythms. Although the synth line from the Volca Bass is solid enough, I lazily introduced a bassline using the Nubass which I’ve already used before. I don’t think it fits and at first listen it does my head in a bit. But hey, this is a learning process so this gets stamped and I move on.
